Students will understand the nature of the theater through study and performance. Students will learn of the major developments and techniques in the history of more than one culture, interpret and illuminate play scripts, understand the art of the stage, perform before an audience, produce work in at least one of the theatrical arts or crafts, understand the processes of theatrical production, and do a theatrical research project.
