Course Description: AP Biology (Green Mountain High School)
Adhering to the curricula recommended by the College Board and designed to parallel college level introductory biology courses, AP Biology stresses basic facts and their synthesis into major biological concepts and themes. The course integrates units of study across four big ideas: evolution, energy and homeostasis, information, and interactions. Emphasis is placed on scientific skills required to plan, execute, and analyze data from lab inquiry. AP Biology courses include college-level laboratory experiments.
