Course Description: AP Chemistry (Chatfield High School)

Following the curriculum set forth by the College Board, AP Chemistry is a rigorous second-year high school chemistry course which delves deeper into concepts such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, states of matter, gas behavior, solution chemistry, and equilibrium. The course also familiarizes students with the principles of reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, and electrochemistry. AP Chemistry laboratories are equivalent to those of typical college courses.

This course can earn 5 credits in AP Chemistry at Advanced Placement (AP) Program.
